Lie­be dem Fo­rum Pre­di­ger­kir­che freund­lich Zu­ge­wand­te

Mit Freu­de prä­sen­tie­ren wir Ih­nen hier ei­ni­ge wich­ti­ge PRO­GRAMM-punk­te bis in den Som­mer (see eng­lish be­low). Mit Kon­zer­ten, Aus­stel­lun­gen und öku­me­ni­schen Be­geg­nungs- und Lern­mög­lich­kei­ten möch­ten wir Sie in­spi­rie­ren. Wenn Sie Im­pul­se ha­ben, zum ge­sell­schaft­li­chen Frie­den an­ders als bis­her und ak­tiv mit uns bei­zu­tra­gen, freu­en wir uns sehr über Ih­re Mel­dung und auf Ihr En­ga­ge­ment, wenn es Ih­nen da­nach ist, sich ein­zu­set­zen. Zum neu­en Jahr wün­schen wir Ih­nen Mut, um ge­dul­dig das an­zu­ge­hen, was Ih­nen wich­tig ist, Glück in al­len Din­gen. Mö­ge die Ver­heis­sung am Ho­ri­zont sicht­bar blei­ben. Gern kön­nen Sie sich üb­ri­gens auch un­ver­bind­lich für un­se­ren Vor­stand mel­den oder ein­fach mal bei ei­ner Pla­nungs­sit­zung und na­tür­lich auch al­len an­de­ren aus­ge­schrie­be­nen Ak­ti­vi­tä­ten mit da­bei sein. Am 15./16. Fe­bru­ar und am 22./23. März oder auch am 5. April sind noch Plät­ze frei im Sup­pen­team, viel­leicht ha­ben Sie so­gar Lust ein­mal Kü­chen­che­fin zu sein und was im­mer Sie sich kon­struk­ti­ves Aus­ma­len, las­sen Sie es uns wis­sen.

VER­AN­STAL­TUNGS­REI­HE

Ei­ne Be­son­der­heit für 2025 ist die Rei­he die «WELT ZU GAST IN PRE­DI­GERN», die am 22. Ja­nu­ar um 18h mit dem er­sten von 10 An­läs­sen be­ginnt und be­son­ders am Her­zen der Pro­fil­ent­wick­lung für die Pre­di­ger­kir­che liegt. Wenn die Spra­che wirk­lich das Haus des Seins ist, dann ist es höch­ste Zeit für mul­ti­kon­fes­sio­nel­le Be­geg­nun­gen in den in Zü­rich meist­ge­spro­che­nen Spra­chen. VER­EINS­AUS­FLUG

Für den VER­EINS­AUS­FLUG pla­nen wir am SAMS­TAG 16. Au­gust von Kirch­berg (Mu­se­um Kon­rad Fer­di­nand Mey­er ) nach Ni­del­bad / Rüsch­li­kon, die Ka­pel­le, die mit ih­ren 5 Räu­men in Ei­nem ei­ne öku­me­ni­sche Gschich­te er­zählt zu be­su­chen. Und den Tag mit Zvie­ri im Park im Grü­nen ab­zu­run­den. De­tails fol­gen mit der Ein­la­dung zur Jah­res­ver­samm­lung am 13. Ju­ni. Ab so­fort bis 8. Au­gust kön­nen Sie sich beim Ver­eins­se­kre­ta­ri­at an­mel­den. Zu­letzt ent­schei­det die Wet­ter­pro­gno­se am Vor­tag.

HERBST

Wir freu­en uns sehr am 1. Au­gust um 9h30 wie­der zur 4. Mul­ti­re­li­giö­sen 1. Au­gust­fei­er ein­zu­la­den. Sie ist of­fi­zi­el­ler Auf­takt zur Bun­des­fei­er im Gross­mün­ster um 11h. 


Das öku­me­ni­sche 25-Jahr-Ge­den­ken an Ci­ce­ly Sau­n­ders, Pio­nie­rin für pal­lia­ti­ve ca­re, ga­stiert vom 2. bis zum 16. Sep­tem­ber bei uns. Die Aus­stel­lung wird mit Fach­per­so­nen, rollups und der Mög­lich­keit mit­zu­stricken ei­ne be­son­de­re dia­ko­ni­sche Acht­sam­keit för­dern.
 
Da­von und von wei­te­ren Ent­wick­lun­gen un­se­res bun­ten Mit­ein­an­ders er­fah­ren Sie im zwei­ten News­let­ter des Jah­res 2025.
So hof­fen auf gu­ten Wind im Se­gel des Nicäa – Jah­res, das auch rö­misch-ka­tho­lisch auch als ein hei­li­ges Jahr für die Pil­ger der Hoff­nung aus­ge­ru­fen wor­den ist. Und evan­ge­lisch ist das Wort aus dem 1. Brief an die Thes­sa­lo­ni­cher (Kap. 5,21) ein wun­der­ba­rer Leit­stern für das Neue, dort steht: Prüft al­les und be­hal­tet das Gu­te!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST

Das Stadt­klo­ster muss er­wähnt wer­den, denn es ist (https://www.stadtkloster.ch) mit uns in kon­struk­ti­ver und viel­fäl­ti­ger Ver­bin­dung, schon im vier­ten Jahr fei­ern wir zum Bei­spiel an ei­nem Sonn­tag­abend pro Mo­nat die Se­quen­tia (https://mystik.art) und ei­ne Art No­vi­zi­ats­kurs mit dem Ti­tel Glau­ben in Ge­mein­schaft fin­det re­gu­lär al­le zwei Jah­re je 12 mal statt, dies­mal ab Mai 2025, je­weils an ei­nem Mon­tag­abend.

Sei­en Sie will­kom­men an den An­läs­sen Ih­rer Wahl und fin­den Sie, was Ih­nen zu­spricht, was Sie an­spricht. Stets lohnt sich auch ein ein­fa­cher Spa­zier­gang zu Käst­chen und Fly­er­aus­la­gen der Kir­che oder die On­line-Prä­senz der Pre­di­ger­kir­che im Rah­men der Alt­stadt­kir­chen.

Dear Fri­ends and Mem­bers of the Fo­rum Pre­di­ger­kir­che

It is our plea­su­re to keep you up­dated wi­th de­tails of our pro­gram­me lea­ding in­to the sum­mer months. We have much to of­fer in the way  of con­certs and ex­hi­bi­ti­ons, as well as op­por­tu­ni­ties to co­me tog­e­ther and pro­fit from the ecu­me­ni­cal en­vi­ron­ment, which, we ho­pe will bring in­spi­ra­ti­on and sa­tis­fac­tion pro­gres­sing on our way in a spi­rit of well­be­ing. Should any of you have new ide­as about how to enhan­ce so­cial harm­o­ny and might wish to be ac­ti­ve in brin­ging the­se about, plea­se get in touch wi­th us. We are gra­teful for an­yo­ne, who would li­ke to be­co­me ac­tively in­vol­ved. At the be­gin­ning of the New Year, we would wish you all cou­ra­ge and pa­ti­ence in ta­ck­ling, wha­te­ver is im­portant to you, and may the ul­ti­ma­te pro­mi­se re­main vi­si­ble on the ho­ri­zon. You are wel­co­me at any time to si­gn on pro­vi­sio­nal­ly for our com­mit­tee or sim­ply co­me along to a mee­ting, and of cour­se to ta­ke part in our ac­ti­vi­ties. The Sun­day Soup Team still has free places for the 15th / 16th Fe­bru­ary, the 22nd / 23rd March as well as the 5th April in ca­se you might even be in­te­re­sted in ta­king char­ge of the kit­chen. Plea­se send us any ide­as you may have.

EVENT SE­RIES

2025 will be no­te­wor­t­hy for the se­ries «Welt zu Gast in Pre­di­gern» (The World vi­sits the Pre­di­gern), which will be­gin on the 22nd Ja­nu­ary at 18.00 wi­th the first of 10 events. This lies at the he­art of the di­rec­tion, which the Pre­di­ger­kir­che is ta­king. If lan­guage re­al­ly is at the co­re of our be­ing, then it is high time for mul­ti­con­fes­sio­nal en­coun­ters to ta­ke place in the most com­mon­ly used lan­guages in Zü­rich.

AN­NU­AL OU­TING

Our an­nu­al ou­ting is be­ing plan­ned for the 16th Au­gust and will ta­ke us from Kirch­berg (Mu­se­um Con­rad Fer­di­nand Mey­er) to Ni­del­bad / Ru­sch­li­kon. The­re we would vi­sit the Bap­tist Cha­pel wi­th its fi­ve rooms in one tel­ling an ecu­me­ni­cal sto­ry. The af­ter­noon will be roun­ded off wi­th a snack in the Park im Grü­nen. Fur­ther de­tails will fol­low at the AGM on the 13th Ju­ne. You can si­gn on for this any time up to the 8th Au­gust at our so­cie­ty se­cre­ta­ry. The pre­vious day’s wea­ther fo­re­cast will be the de­ci­ding fac­tor as to whe­ther the ou­ting ta­kes place or not.

AUTUMN

You are cor­di­al­ly in­vi­ted on the 1st Au­gust at 9.30 to the 4th in­ter­re­li­gious 1st Au­gust ce­rem­o­ny, which will be the of­fi­ci­al ope­ning oft he Na­tio­nal Day Ce­le­bra­ti­on in the Gross­mün­ster at 11.00.

The ecu­me­ni­cal ce­le­bra­ti­on of the 25th an­ni­ver­sa­ry of the pio­neer of pal­lia­ti­ve ca­re, Ci­ce­ly Sau­n­ders, will be ta­king place wi­th us from the 2nd tot he 16th Sep­tem­ber. This will ta­ke the form of an ex­hi­bi­ti­on fea­turing spe­cia­lists, roll-ups and the op­por­tu­ni­ty to ta­ke part in knit­ting groups – a spe­cial ex­pe­ri­ence of mindful­ness in so­cial work.  
 
The­re will be mo­re about this and fur­ther de­ve­lo­p­ments along our com­mon path in the se­cond news­let­ter of 2025.
 

We are loo­king for­ward to and ho­ping for fa­voura­ble con­di­ti­ons to na­vi­ga­te us th­rough the Ni­caea year, which in the Ro­man Ca­tho­lic world will ta­ke place wi­thin the frame­work of the ho­ly Ju­bi­lee Pil­grims of Ho­pe. And for the re­for­med world, a won­derful lo­de­star for new be­gin­nings is pro­vi­ded by the fol­lo­wing mes­sa­ge from the 1st Epist­le to the Thes­sa­lo­ni­ans, whe­re we read: Test ever­ything. Hold on to the good!

We must not for­get the Stadt­klo­ster (https://www.stadtkloster.ch), which works tog­e­ther wi­th us in so ma­ny dif­fe­rent cons­truc­ti­ve ways. As an ex­am­p­le, we are al­re­a­dy in the fourth year of ce­le­bra­ting Se­quen­tia on one Sun­day evening per month (https://mystik.art). Li­ke­wi­se, what could be ter­med a no­vitia­te cour­se en­tit­led Faith in Com­mu­ni­ty ta­kes place 12 times every two ye­ars. This year it will be­gin in May on Mon­day evenings.
 
You may be assu­red of a warm wel­co­me at such events as would ap­peal to and in­te­rest you. It is al­ways worth ca­sting a glan­ce at the no­ti­ce board or ha­ving a look at the fly­ers on dis­play in the church or con­sul­ting the web­sites of any of the Old Ci­ty churches.
